About the Tatum T1
Tatum has developed the first algorithm that translates English into tactile ASL by breaking down sentences into smaller components. Using linguistic and engineering techniques, we rearrange the data into a format and grammar used in ASL.
With the help of linguists, programmers, and DeafBlind folks from across the US, the algorithm is customizable to support the linguistic variation within the DeafBlind community.
Tatum1 is connected to WiFi, allowing for instantaneous feature and product updates. We are constantly working on new updates and features, and value any feedback through our Contact Form.
